INTJ’s and Emotions

I am often judged because of my lack of emotions. The thing is I don’t recognize that I’m being heartless until someone points it out. I’ll say something to my sister and it’s the complete honest truth, and then she’ll make me realize that what I said isn’t exactly what should have been said. My own family sometimes believes I’ll run into emotional difficulties with relationships because of this. However the one upside, is that INTJs are very selective about who they are willing to let in and be a part of their lives and therefore, would never be with someone that did not understand how they process emotions. It’s not abnormal, only different.

(Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images featured in this post.)

HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research and forty-six earlier Agent clones — endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

I absolutely loved this movie. Now I’m aware that most people didn’t, because they were basing it off the video game or just wrote it off as just another pointless action movie. However, I am going to explain why I enjoyed this movie. (May contain spoilers)

I thought I’d share another little DIY with you. This ended up taking a little longer than i thought, but i started because I disliked the cover so much. Basically i tried painting the cover first and let’s just say it didn’t end well. So I scrapped that and went back to the drawing board.

New Plan:

Step One: Rip the cover off.

Introvert

Many people have heard of Carl Jung’s and Isabel Myers Brigg Typology Test (humanmetrics.com). Some have not, and it is a personality test that has had a major impact on my own life. It consists of about 70 questions and determines four letters that represent your personality.

Now this personality test like any other will not be 100% accurate, because no one is the same. However it often helps explaining why you are the way you are. Even when I first discovered the word introvert I jumped for joy because I realized I wasn’t some shy little girl. I was only introverted, and most importantly I learned that it was ok to be this way. I think that’s the biggest challenge some people have. They don’t fit in because they aren’t very outgoing or talkative, and they’re torn between trying to change and staying who they are.

Before they were these basic white three shelf bookcases that never seemed to fit anywhere in my room. They were usually on either side of my bed or beside my desk and it never looked quite right.
