Dealing With Anxiety: Self-Improvement Tips

38. Anxiety.jpg

Hey Readers, today I’m talking about something a little more on the serious side of things, which I suppose isn’t uncommon for me to do, but I promise to leave on a happy note.

Today I wanted to talk about Anxiety, and while it took me a while to realize it, I have in fact experienced anxiety symptoms. And I know everyone’s been there at least once, before a big presentation, or job interview. But for me it was more serious than that. I’ve had my fair share of panic attacks, and since getting myself out of a depression two years ago, I have been trying to focus on being happy. That’s all, just “be happy”.  Which is easier said than done, but I have a few self-help tips that I’m going to be trying (or have already tried) to work on this. I think it’s my INTJness (is that even a thing????, whatever, you know what I mean) that causes me to always self-improve no matter how difficult or serious the task may be, but I think everyone can benefit from trying to improve themselves and be a better, happier individual.

What to Read this Fall

36. Fall Reading List.jpg

Hello Readers. I would first like to start off with an apology for not posting last Thursday, things have been rather busy lately, so I will also go ahead and add that I will not be posting on Saturday’s anymore and will be going back to my usual posting days.

Ok, so for today I would like to share with you my Fall reading list, although it only contains three books, I have other projects and things I’ve been working on so I really don’t read as much as I used to. But my goal is to read a book a month.

35-intj-infj

Hey Readers, if you don’t know I am a twin, and also an INTJ. Interestingly enough my sister is an INFJ, so to compare the two types we put together an interview. Hope you enjoy.

  1. How did you discover the Myers-Briggs Test?

Brittany: It was three years ago. I had watched Susan Cain’s TedTalk and had started to do some research on the topic of introversion when I came across the 16Personalities and the Carl Jung Typology Test.

Lindsay: Through you. Continue reading INTJ and INFJ: An Interview

Learning Origami

When I was about eight or nine I started to look into Origami, I cannot remember how I thought of it, but I guess I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to learn something. So then it started and the watching of a thousand YouTube videos began. I did have a few books on it, but I always found the picture difficult to follow so I searched it on YouTube and that’s how I learned the majority of what I know now.

Now I will admit I have not done any Origami in a while it was a phase for a few years and then it passed, but that didn’t mean I had forgotten how to make any of them.

Nice, Lovely Things

Today, I thought I’d share some of the things that make me happy. I’m pretty sure everyone has seen these floating around the internet. I like them because they make you feel something, some of the descriptions really resonate with me and you know that taste, or that smell, or that feeling. So I thought I’d give it a try.
